Conflicts Update – US
Scheduled for Oct 22, 20:00 - 22:00 EDT
Scheduled
On Tuesday (Oct-22), Conflicts-US will undergo planned downtime to add new features between 8pm-10pm EDT | 1am-3am (Oct - 23) UTC. During the downtime window Conflicts will be unavailable for a period of time but will be immediately available once the update is complete. This update will not require re-indexing.

The update includes the following.

NEW FEATURES

Ability to Automatically Assign Search Requests
A new firm option, Auto-assign search requests to, allows law firms to set who search requests are automatically assigned to after they have been searched. The following options are available:
• None
• Requested By
• Created By
• Approver
The option defaults to None.
Note: The Approver option only displays if the Allow approvers to be designated field is selected.
Note: This only affects new search requests; it does not affect new search versions.
Note: If this field is changed while a search request is being searched, then the new field value will affect that search request.

Ability to Change Default Fuzzy Search Behavior
A new firm option, Apply fuzzy search by default for search requests, allows law firms to set whether the Apply fuzzy search to each search term checkbox is selected by default when creating search requests. The firm option defaults to off.
Note: This does not apply to new search versions, as they take on the checkbox value of the previous version.
Note: The checkbox remains editable regardless of whether this firm option is selected.

Persisting Search Request Tab Refiners
Selections made in the Refiner pane on the Search Requests tab now persist on a given device. Any changes made are automatically saved.

KNOWN ISSUES

• Hits are secured even for users included in the security plan for an entity.
Note: This only occurs when a user has email addresses in Expert and Aderant Identity that are not an exact match.
Workaround: Ensure that users' email addresses are exactly the same in Expert and Aderant Identity. Email
addresses are case sensitive.
• Comments made and edited by other users will not display text to indicate that they have been edited.
Only comments that you have made and edited will display 'Edited'.
